Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

We love Christmas Eve Traditions, and number one on the kids list is guessing which wrapping paper is theirs. This year only McKennah guessed right! After getting into their new jammies, they of course headed downstairs to make the Christmas Eve Fort in Logan's room.

They all saved their own money this year and wanted to shop a little bit for each other so we opened up those gifts as well! (I think it was a bit much. We'll be back to one gift each on Christmas Eve, those lucky kids!)

This year we told the kids we would be doing their stockings last this year. A few highlights were new trick bikes for the twins, Jazz tickets for Logan, and clothes, scriptures, and boots for McKennah! I put a new sound system in the living room for Darren, and Darren spoiled me with a Coach purse, and diamond earrings. Sooo fun, and unexpected!

We told our kids to close their eyes as we brought out their "stockings"...which were tucked inside suitcases this year. We told them we were going on a trip, and we were leaving the VERY NEXT day! We said they would each open up their suitcases to find out where they are going, and Ayden hysterically asked, "what?? we're all going to different places?"

Disneyworld, Discovery Cove to swim with Dolphins, Sea World and Universal Islands of Adventure. In each suitcase were DS games, travelling toiletries, and a checklist of what to pack. They were so excited, so grateful, and thankful. Love these kids.
