We love the Estoque Family Reunion weekend! This year Cheryl's boss allowed us to stay in his cabin up at Bear Lake. We left after work on Thursday and stayed until Sunday. It was the perfect fun filled weekend!

Friday Morning Steven, Curtis and Cheryl, Darren and I went golfing and then the kids came to meet us for breakfast at the clubhouse.
In the evening we played some Lacrosse at the park. So much fun!
Saturday after breakfast we had our annual Amazing Race.
Clue #1: Sort all coins into their proper sleeves. Count carefully because there may be MORE or LESS coins than needed. Come to Kim or Cheryl with the proper coin amount to receive your next clue. If you have the wrong total...you will need to count ALL of your coins again.
(They were given duct tape balls with loose change, and coin wrappers in the middle. The total was $42.25 that they needed to count up and take with them for the remainder of the race)
Clue #2: Thinking back to the duct tape ball, there were three types of duct tape. What were the 3 "images" on the duct tape? Using the FIRST letter of each image....you must unscramble the 3 letters---they will tell you where you need to go. _____ _____ _____. The space number you will need to find is the total amount of "dollars" you counted up. _____ _____.
(The duct tape balls were taped with 3 different duct tapes: Angry Birds, Kissy Lips, and Owls. Unscrambled they should of come up with KOA (the campground) and space 42. Where Cheryl was waiting for them with their next clue.)
Clue #3:
(I was waiting for them at the Convention and Visitors Bureau where each team member was required to roll a 3 with the die. Once they rolled a 3, they were told to do #3 on the list below.)
With their $42.25 in coins they had rolled from Clue #1 they had to wait in line at the Quick and Tasty to purchase raspberry Shakes for their whole team.
Once their shakes were purchased Clue #4 told them to go to #14 on the list.
Cheryl was waiting for them at the Pickleville Playhouse, and they had to volley "Pickle Ball" on a racket between players 20 times without dropping the ball before they were given Clue #5.
Clue #5: Find Rendezvous Beach. Locate Kim or Cheryl to find your next clue.
I was waiting for them on the beach with Clue #6.
Clue#6: Dig for your keys, unlock the locks, fill the bucket with water from the lake, and build a 4X6 sand castle. Making sure you use ALL the supplies given.
(they had to dig for some keys in a sectioned off area. There was probably 12 keys and only 6 locks. They had to find the correct 6 keys to unlock all the locks in order to start filling their buckets. Once they built their sand castle and it was approved by Cheryl they were sent back to me for their last clue.)
Clue #7: Estimate the total of the 3 treats to figure out the 3 numbers to open the combination locks. This is for the WIN! Good Luck!
(under a cover I had 3 different types of treats gummy bears, gold fish, and sprees. They were covered on the table and I would count to 15. Uncover the treats and they could try to count them up to solve the combination lock. If they presented numbers to me I would say they were high or low until they got them right one by one.)
It was fun, it was intense! They were neck and neck the entire game through! Alas, only one team could win!

That night we went to the Pickleville Playhouse to see "Who Shot Juanito Bandito" It was a HIT!!
I love mi familia.....
After cleaning up and packing we thought we'd hike up Bloomington Canyon.
Curtis said it was a short/easy hike. And we could do it in sandals. After our 45 minute drive in, we hit SNOW!!! And lots of it. The short hike ended up being probably a mile in and a mile out...but the kids didn't mind.
And snow? That didn't stop these little cuties from going in....my little Logan being ambushed!
Reunion time=Best time.....families are forever.....Love them all!
