Class of 2014!

Tears start to well up in your eyes at the beginning of your oldest child's senior year.  And they don't stop when they walk across the stage with their diploma in hand.  I won't say it was easy getting this girl to the point of graduation.  But it WAS fun.  Proud of you, McKennah!

And time sure does fly, when you are having fun.  Love you, sweet McKennah-- beyond proud of all you have accomplished.  Stay forever sweet, kind and loving and you will go far.

Excited to see things to come.

Memorial Day with the Elmore's

One of our all time favorite weekend get away....and even better spent with the Elmore's!  We love this family and the fun and memories we have with them.  Truly family to us!  Looking for somewhere close, and affordable we decided on a quick trip to Park City.  Not wanting to just hang by the pool I looked into visiting the Utah Olympic Park.  So glad I did!  So fun, so entertaining for everyone from little 7 yr old Ian, to us over 40.  We arrived about 11:00 and the park closed at 5:00,  and left us wanting for more!  We will be back!!!

Starting up the hill you zip-line down to this point and have to walk off the edge to get down.
It's called the Drop Tower.  A little terrifying if you ask me!

Then onto the bobsleds.  Ugh!  Never again!  The G-force was so strong, it made you sick!!!

Next day we spent shopping at the outlets.  What a success.  Easily could make this trip a tradition, and everyone would be ecstatic!

19 years with my Bae!

Hard to believe it has been 19 years, with my handsome hubby.  I made this poster for Darren and had it hanging in his office at work.  On it were 44 pictures of my favorite memories with him!  It was fun to jog the memory- to reflect and to remember where it all started and how far we have come!  Its amazing the feelings that come flooding back through photos, some memories you can recall without the reminder from a photo, some photos unearthed memories of the hurt or stress that you overcame and tucked deep inside.  I am blessed with my dear sweet husband and grateful for the life we have created together.  For whatever came our way we made it through together .....laughing, smiling and totally in love.  Love you, Darren.  Happy 19th!

Happy 18th Birthday, McKennah!

My how fast time does fly.  Our sweet baby girl turned 18 and we celebrated by doing a couple of things she loves!  Dinner at Olive Garden, and going to see the Sound of Music at the Centerville Legacy Theatre.
